GTA 6 pre-orders have been open since 25 June 2026: €79.99 for the Standard edition, €99.99 for the Ultimate edition. They give access to the 12 November preload. The box sold in shops contains no disc, only a code.

The disc-free box, what it means
Rockstar has confirmed that the physical launch version contains a download code. Three concrete consequences: the game still has to be downloaded, the code can only be used once, and the box cannot be resold second-hand. A disc edition has been mentioned by the specialist press for later, without confirmation from Rockstar.
Spotting a fake offer
- A PC key: there is no PC version, so no PC key
- A Steam or Epic listing: there is none
- Early access or a beta: Rockstar has announced neither
- A preload before 12 November: it does not open before then
- A price far below €79.99 on an unknown marketplace
Pre-ordering without owning a console
A digital pre-order can be bought from a browser, on the PlayStation Store, without owning a PS5. The game is tied to your PlayStation Network account. All that is missing is a console to run it, and Ploud rents one by the hour, hosted in France. The 12 November preload then goes onto the 200 GB reserved for you.
